My father and I have used Richards nearly every year since I was a little girl for our yearly overnight Eleven Point river float trip. He and his family is very knowledgeable about the river and it's conditions and always helpful and professional. Highly recommend renting from Richard.
Also so friendly, and so patient as I took some extra time at the put in loading my kayak, as some gear wasn't going to fit.
Used their shuttle service for my trip. Most of the information online about the Eleven Point river I used to plan my trip was not good after the flooding earlier in the year. They got me to an alternate put in based on my original plan.
I have been floating with Jerry and his staff for over 15 years. Jerry had our canoes already loaded when we arrived for this past week's trip. He provided information concerning the river condition, and how it was fishing as we rode to the river. We always carry a lot of fishing gear, so Jerry make sure it is packed properly on our transport. Both days we floated his staff was on time and very efficient in loading our gear and canoes (note-I have never had to wait for his staff when we get off of the river). We like to rent aluminum canoes for more stability while floating. These canoes are well maintained, and very comfortable to float in. Jerry Richard's and his staff are top notch.
I arrived early at the take out point a day and a half later and they came early to the time arranged.
